Turmeric Roasted Cauliflower

Hi everyone, happy Sunday! This weekend we want to share with you a lovely recipe for roasted cauliflower. It goes great with a protein and mashed potatoes or rice, with other roasted vegetables, or even cooled and mixed into a salad! We hope you enjoy!

Turmeric Roasted Cauliflower

Ingredients:

– 1 bag of frozen or pre-cut cauliflower (10-12 oz), or about half a small head of fresh cauliflower

– ½ – 1 tsp turmeric (we recommend starting with ½ tsp and building from there depending on your taste)

– Onion and garlic powder (to taste)

– Salt and pepper (to taste)

– 2-3 tbsp olive oil

Optional (any or all of the following):

-½ tsp paprika

-½ tsp cumin

-¼ tsp coriander

-If you like spice, feel free to add red chili flakes, cayenne, kashmiri, or any other kind of chili powder you like!

Steps:

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (230 C) .

Add your frozen cauliflower to a large bowl. If using fresh cauliflower, cut it into small florets first

Add the rest of the ingredients and drizzle in the olive oil

Mix well, making sure the cauliflower is thoroughly coated

Spread out evenly on a baking tray, making sure not to stack the cauliflower pieces (give them as much space as possible for better browning)

Roast in the oven for about 25 minutes, then check back again. You may need another 25 minutes depending on your oven, and how filled the baking tray is. We just continue to roast ours until the cauliflower is tender and brown on the edges.

Enjoy!
